DISGUSTED…even more so since I recalculated my expense’s at work and its more like $2000 I spend on lunch’s at work…urgh

CAVE-DWELLER’S MENTALITY…I feel it coming on. Getting ready for a funeral yesterday, got a call that my mothers cousin’s had passed from prostate cancer

INTERESTING… I love sitting around listening to older ladies talk. I wanted so bad to walk around them, snapping pictures, but it was a funeral and I didn’t think it would be appropriate. After the funeral, at dinner, I found myself sitting with a bunch of ladies, all dressed in white, head to toe, even down to the gloves. What first started out as what I guess would be considered proper, they got to talking about how they used to go to the Elks ‘parties’ and how fun they were. One little feisty thing, so tiny tiny tiny, with her wet set pin curls and bright red lipstick, would throw her head back and let out a laugh…I tell you what, made me laugh just to hear and see it. Another lady sadly told me about a mother who had gotten shot at a bus stop. The sadness she felt even though she did not know them personally made ME feel sad. One lady, who was the primadonna of the group constantly asked ‘hows my teeth???’ and grin really wide so I could make sure she didn’t have lipstick on her teeth. They also talked about how it was when they were 20 and how ‘friends’ they knew went through hell with abusive relationships and how I ‘bet not ever let a man control my life’…I think I felt a kinship with them because they reminded me of my grandmother. I could have listened to them all day.

FUNNY…Jalil’s new show is Hell’s Kitchen…he did a gourmet meal of Ramen Noodles and hotdogs the other day.

Well, this is about all I can muster up for today. I do have pictures but ehhhh…not in the mood to upload them. I hate when I get in this mood so here’s to everyone out there to have safe, blessed, fun filled weekend!
