ramblins....based on the tons of photo's I've taken in the past few weeks...sorry that I am all over the board with this but...oh well... Jalil...patiently...well not so patiently but hey...what can he do, tell me "NO! No more pictures!!!' No...he cant say that because I'm the Mommie. But any way...back to what I was going to say...here's Jalil PATIENTLY waiting for me to take his picture while he was outside shooting hoops. Gosh...he's losing that chubby face. His face is getting more chiseled. He's losing that babyfat on his belly and...GULP...he's getting a broad chest. It doesnt seem fair. It doesnt seem right that my kids are growing up. I've always said that everyday of my life, for the past 17 years has been lived so that my boys would grow up and be positive influence on society. I lived so that they can see how its done, rather by my actions or by me showing them that something I did was NOT the way to do something. I wanted to mold them. Guide them. Correct them but most of all I wanted to love two little boys so much from the day they were born until the day I died, that there would be no question of the depth of the love their mama had for them. If nothing else, they had THAT my hosta's are coming up! Yeah!!!! If we get another frost..snow...cold rain...ANYTHING hinting at the possibility of damaging my flowers...I'm...well...I dont know what I'm going to do but I am not going to be very happy..... *sigh* my life is a constant 'To-Do List' waiting to be checked off. I want to work on this...my back yard. Miyagi isnt a outside dog but of course, he's got to go outside for certain instances. When he's out there, especially if there are kids over shooting hoops, he runs along this fence line...tearing grass and dirt up to the point of there not being grass. I want to do SOMETHING with this.

i love blue skies...that's all here...

i dont know what these tree's are called but they are pretty popular here in Mid-Missouri. They are every where and they really are pretty. They are dainty and feminine and are really pretty to look at and take photo's when they have the blossoms on them. BUT (ya'll know there was a 'but' ) they stink. STINK BAD. And its only when the blossoms are out. * and why I used the word 'pretty' fifty-million times...I dont know....*

i dont have a picture for this last one so you'll have to use your imagination. Well I do have a photo but I really...just can share it. Thank you all for the positive comments and support for my own little Biggest Loser commitment! I will tell you that currently I weigh 214. My doctor speak...I'm supposed to weigh 125-143 pounds. That aint going to happen. I'm sorry doc...its not. I want to look like a woman, not an little girl. I want to be healthy, I want to get off my diabetic medicine but I also like AND want my curves. That is possible, isnt it???? I took a picture in my bedroom mirror of me in my undies and lets just say...I felt like crying. BUT I didnt because I WANT to feel that what's on the outside is not a testament to who I am. (so blow on that Mr. Insecurity). Anyway...my main goal now is to get back to slowly cutting out my carbs again. When I did that, my glucose levels were PERFECT and I didnt feel this constant...foggy-ness I feel now. Soooooo I'm going to slowly ween out bread AGAIN....after that I will do something else but for me...baby steps is best. I cant just cut everything out cold turkey. Yes...I'm a baby. But its for the public safety as well.

LOL

I'm not playing...that really was a Public Service Announcement.

Have a MARVELOUS weekend folks...

Ya'll know I'm a huge The Biggest Loser fan...I watch the show like clockwork and then sometimes watch the episode AGAIN on the website... The show...inspires me.

It inspires me to keep trying to get my health under control. I'm diabetic and sadly enough my biggest fear is that one day I will be on insulin and have to give myself shots. A fear of needles not amputation of a limb, is what drives me to get off even the pills I am on. It inspires me to move during commercial breaks...no DVR for me to fast forward through...I dont channel surf. No....what I do is soon as a commercial hits, I'm up shadow boxing ( a new thing on this season's show) or I run up and down my stairs in my house. And right now...its inspiring me to do my own Biggest Loser. A major part of the weight they lose is because they've got someone to help pick the right food choices but also...to have a trainer there with you. From what I have read, the contestants workout up to at least 8 hours a day. Now,I"m sure that even if I had the ability to do it that much I probably wouldn't but when you've got people like Jillian (who is a hard ass) and Bob ( who I could get a MAD crush on) pushing me...I do believe I would do 8 hours of working out. But then, I do believe there is another motivator....

It's the unspoken pledges to lose the weight in front of thousands and thousands of viewers. You cant make that promise to yourself in front of all these people and not make do with it...at least I cant. Not only are you pledging to yourself that you will do this...you are also... appearing in front of thousands and thousands of strangers in spandex work out pants and a sports bra. that alone would have my booty on a tread mill ALL.FREAKIN'. DAY. Soooo I thought..maybe if I take this 'weight loss' journey to the blog land....even though I do not have thousands of thousands of readers....having a few people see me with a few pieces of clothing to camouflage this belly or that lack of a booty might make me work a little harder... its a work in thought process so we shall see...
