Ahhhh the signs of springs….

Jalil…my baby….has a girlfriend….she’s real and he isn’t stalking her (that’s a whole other story for another day). They do not GO anywhere….they do not meet up anywhere. They talk at school and eat lunch together which is just enough for me…weeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllll…they took it to another level….

He let her have his mp3 player.

This was SO wrong on so many levels….

Level number 1: He didn’t tell me he gave it her…her uncle called and told me that she had it and he was making sure that it was okay. I told him that really, no, it wasn’t okay but to make sure she gave it back to him tomorrow (today) but without my permission, he shouldn’t have even loaned it out to her…which is level number 2…..

Number 3: he gave her his mp3 player…which is, like, MAJOR in Jalil’s eyes….we are talking……class ring material here folks and I do NOT exaggerate. Jalil uses his mp3 player A LOT for calming methods…even during school hours (a repetitive sound is calming). He hasn’t had to use it very much this year but sometimes I think it calms him down knowing it’s in pocket.

Level number 4: nothing….I mean NOTHING belongs to my boys to the point that they can give it freely to someone else. Especially if you didn’t buy it.

Which leads BACK to level number 2….ayyyy yiiiiiii yiiiiiii…..

When him and his brother got back from the courts I told him about the phone call and I pounded the rules into him to which he replied to number 4…’mom…I bought my mp3 player ’….himmmmm ‘you did??? But still….its not yours to give...’ :-/

I hate it when my rules bite me in the butt….

Thanks for visiting me this morning. I do hope it all works out for you and your son. And I hope you have your dream come true of a Canon Rebel.
