I couldn't remember. I'd had some great kisses. But the architecture of them was starting to fade.

This is the second time I've read this book and again...this excerpt hits me. I've read and re-read so many times....and I still come up with the same end result...HE does kiss like that. Every freakin' time. Even if its just a lil smooch in passing....it could be a 2 second kiss and he kisses just like this with a quiet intensity...almost like...he thinks it will be our last...

okay...enough TMI....

Summer is winding down and the boys will start school in about 3 weeks...they are excited and truth be told...i am excited too. But it also makes me a little nostalgic..soon Okoye will be a senior and then he will be headed for college. More than likely it will be out of state...and then Jalil will be a senior in a few years. Even though he says 'I will never move away from home, Mom!'...something tells me he will. And then I will have an empty nest. Whew...how scary is that?

Its the weekend so get out and live life...after all...its the only one ya get!
