Ya'll know I'm a huge The Biggest Loser fan...I watch the show like clockwork and then sometimes watch the episode AGAIN on the website... The show...inspires me.

It inspires me to keep trying to get my health under control. I'm diabetic and sadly enough my biggest fear is that one day I will be on insulin and have to give myself shots. A fear of needles not amputation of a limb, is what drives me to get off even the pills I am on. It inspires me to move during commercial breaks...no DVR for me to fast forward through...I dont channel surf. No....what I do is soon as a commercial hits, I'm up shadow boxing ( a new thing on this season's show) or I run up and down my stairs in my house. And right now...its inspiring me to do my own Biggest Loser. A major part of the weight they lose is because they've got someone to help pick the right food choices but also...to have a trainer there with you. From what I have read, the contestants workout up to at least 8 hours a day. Now,I"m sure that even if I had the ability to do it that much I probably wouldn't but when you've got people like Jillian (who is a hard ass) and Bob ( who I could get a MAD crush on) pushing me...I do believe I would do 8 hours of working out. But then, I do believe there is another motivator....

It's the unspoken pledges to lose the weight in front of thousands and thousands of viewers. You cant make that promise to yourself in front of all these people and not make do with it...at least I cant. Not only are you pledging to yourself that you will do this...you are also... appearing in front of thousands and thousands of strangers in spandex work out pants and a sports bra. that alone would have my booty on a tread mill ALL.FREAKIN'. DAY. Soooo I thought..maybe if I take this 'weight loss' journey to the blog land....even though I do not have thousands of thousands of readers....having a few people see me with a few pieces of clothing to camouflage this belly or that lack of a booty might make me work a little harder... its a work in thought process so we shall see...

I've been tracking my food on www . myfitnesspal . com . So far it's helped me see correct portion sizes and I have lost several lbs. It gives me hope to stick with it!

You got a fellow BL fan and supporter in all things "getting healthy" in me. I'm trying to get back on track after falling off the fitness wagon 6 months ago.

BTW: Jillian's 20 min shred it DVD's are NO JOKE!
