my oldest son, Okoye, took his ACT's for the first time on Saturday.... i'm having a hard time ya'll...I'm trying to present the positive facade of ....'this is natural'...'of course you are going to miss your brother and me'...'dont worry'.... when all I want to do is grab both of my boys and run to a cave

i've been doing really good with cutting out bread...well, that is until Saturday morning. Friday night I made a breakfast casserole so that Okoye would have some kind of nourishment before taking the exam. My recipe called for 12 slice's of bread....by 9am saturday morning...guess who had two HUGE helpings of the casserole????? MOI!

*sigh*

these are cherry blossom's from my neighbors cherry tree. I'm so glad I've got such understand neighbors!

Our children grow up much too fast and leave our nests. My oldest has been gone to University for 4 years (he graduates this month) and my youngest is off next year...I don't know where time goes but it does. Best of luck to your son on his ACT's...and best of luck to you with the bread...you'll do it!!

Hi Jakki, I missed this post but I'm wishing him belated well wishes. I know it's going to be just great.
