This right here....has been my lastest obsession....these pine cones, pine needles and leaves......why, you might ask.....

i have no clue.

they look sharp...and uncomfortable...

but really...they seem like a soft place land since the pine needles cover the road in front of my house...

I guess like I try and be...a soft place in and next to a hard place to be...

"There is no single definition of holiness. There are dozens, hundreds. But there is one that I am particulary fond of; being holy means getting up immediately every time you fall with humility and joy. It doesn't mean ever falling into sin. It means being able to say "Yes, Lord, I have fallen a thousand times. But thanks to you I have got up again a thousand and one times". That's all. I like thinking about that." ~ Helder Camara

hey folks...hope this post finds everyone at best, at peace....if you can have that peace...everything kinda falls into place..at least in my world it does...

we have some leaves actually falling but they arent actually changing colors... I mean they are brown...no warm golden yellow...no warm oranges...nope...just brown. And falling... so I had to snazz it up a bit with my photo's...

"Dont waste a minute not being happy...If one window closes, run to the next window...or break down a door." unknown

He's got Pretty Boy Swag....

Jalil, my baby is growing up WAY to fast for my taste but what mother does NOT say that??? Well count me in one of the millions...

Here lately he has QUITE the social calender...he went and spent the night with someone FOR THE FIRST TIME EVVVVVVVVER...he's went to the movies with a couple friends AND he's walked up to a couple young ladies and held conversations with them. Done this and STILL managed to get all A's and B's...

LIFE...is pretty good, ya'll

My God...I cant help but wonder where did the time go...it seems like the year had just begun and now we are here, in October, with it almost over and soon it will be November and then of course it will be December. The time...just flies by the older I get...

the tree's are starting to change colors now...although the tree's in my neighborhood arent changing as quickly as everyone else's seems to be...

and that is what I like the most....the leaves changing colors. at this time of the year, the sunlight is different, the air is different and which of course makes my mood EXTREMELY different. Cant help it but I end up being very very irritable around this time but I truly feel this year will be a little bit different.

I am reading the book Eat Pray Love and am somewhat liking it. I have about 6 chapters left (after I had to read the Second part of the book for India over again....I'm sorry but I consider myself a pretty spiritual minded person but the India chapters...whew...just threw me for a loop with all the chanting, meditating and such. I am really glad I DID read it over again because I came away with a better feeling the second time around.) All in all...I think I need to take my on trip. Things are a-changing for Jak...

Hey folks...

yes its me again...

I know I've been missing in action but I'm sure all of you know...LIFE HAS A WAY OF DROP KICKING YOU BUTT AND TAKING NAMES....

but moving on from that

I hope this post finds everyone doing well...taking the time to enjoy life...because

its the only life you will get so why not do it right and do it well the first time around

I'll be dropping in on all of you soon
